Guides work to daily conditions to offer the best fishing available, targeting trophy barramundi on Lake Tinaroo using modern sonar and proven techniques.

Both guide boats are fitted with LiveScope sonar, allowing us to locate and target fish with precision. Trips are focused on lure or fly fishing, with techniques including casting soft plastics, swimbaits and surface lures.

Our experienced local guides specialise in barramundi fishing and regularly help anglers land their first fish. We also run dedicated trips for experienced anglers chasing trophy fish.

Lake Tinaroo is home to large barramundi, including metre-plus fish, with opportunities available throughout the warmer months.

Guides are happy to teach and help anglers develop their lure or fly fishing skills throughout the day.

Your Day

Half Day Morning Session: 4 hours fishing 
Half Day Afternoon Session: 4 hours fishing 
Full Day: 8 hours fishing

Pick up times vary depending on season and guides preference.

Guests staying on Lake Tinaroo can be picked up directly from any lakefront accommodation.

Day trip guests meet the guide at Lake Tinaroo one of the boat ramps requested by guide.

Cairns pick-up and drop-off is available for multi-day trips only.

Snacks and drinks are included on all trips.
Quality tackle is supplied, including spin and casting outfits suited to barramundi fishing.

Multi-Day Trips

Multi-day Lake Tinaroo trips are available and can cater for up to 5 anglers.

These trips include accommodation, meals and fully guided fishing, allowing more time on the water and greater flexibility to fish prime periods.

Guests are welcome to book their own accommodation, however staying at one of the above locations makes logistics simple and allows for easy lake-side pick up where available.
