Inshore Bluewater 

• On our inshore bluewater trips we fish the inshore tropical islands, reefs, and wrecks.
• Techniques include top water/popping, high-speed spinning, jigging/soft plastics in the deep.
• Species targeted include: Gt, Queenfish, Tuna, Coral Trout, Golden Snapper and many more!
• Tropical Island lunch break, Snorkel, swim and cool off.
• Our vessel is in 2D survey and operates in partially smooth waters only.
• We do not offer day trips to the Great Barrier Reef.

Weather Flexibility:

• Weather conditions are vital for safe and enjoyable trips.
• We require 0-10knots to run these trips.
• If it’s too windy on the day we’ll be restricted to the river/estuary.

Your Day:

• Cairns CBD pick up 
• Half Day 630-12noon
• Full Day 630-430pm
• Travel: Expect up to a 1.5-hour Car trip, depending on the chosen boat launch.
• Include: lunch, snacks, drinks, water, and tea/coffee.
• Gear: All equipment is provided, including light tackle jigging, plastics, and popping outfits.
• Tackle: High-quality jigs, plastics, metals, and surface lures are all included.

What to Bring:

• Hat, long-sleeved shirts, Sunblock and polarized sunglasses.
• Camera
• Towel for a swim
• Mask and snorkel

When:

September  to April is the best time of year to score light winds and calm seas.
